Almost a Boat

Spent about 6 hours today working on the boat. Got a little bit of help from the girls along the way. We glued and nailed all the chine logs on the side, bulkheads & transoms.

After all the chine logs were done all the pieces went together. All she needs now is to do a little final shaping on the bulkheads and then glue and nail the bottom on. After that we get to register her and get our official PDR hull number. Dreaming of launch day…

The boat is just big enough for me to lie down on a diagonal. Camping in the boat with Molly on the lake should be just possible.

Total time: 33 hours
Total boat cost: $431
Total tools cost: $200
