Got the shop cleaned up a little more this morning in some chilly low 40s and then started cutting out the rear panels. I got the rear side panels, bilge panels and bottom cut out for both boats. The jigsaw cut through the two sheets of 5 mm Tri-ply underlayment very cleanly. It took me about hours to get set up and all the pieces cut. Tomorrow I hope to finish all the plywood cuts.
- cut out remaining plywood pieces from the 5 mm underlayment
- cut out temporary forms from MDF
- start gluing the SYP strips from Matt to use for blocking around the bulkheads
- epoxy the panels into full lengths
- build bulkheads
