Rear deck epoxy

Today is November 1 and I had hoped to launch the boat at the end of last month. Obviously that didn’t happen. It’s another rainy fall day, so it’s a good thing the boat building happens in the carport. I got a coat of epoxy on the rear deck this afternoon.

I made sure to get all the edges well, so hopefully this cheap floor underlayment plywood will hold together for a good long time.

Here’s a shot of the recessed deck hatch with a small keyed cutout for alignment purposes

It’s still early in the afternoon, so I might try to get a coat of primer into the airbox as well.
